He began speaking Latin in 2016 with&nbsp;<em>Paideia<\/em>&nbsp;at Living Latin in Rome where he was immediately inflamed with the desire to speak Latin just about every day. Each day since, he has spent a great deal of his time learning and understanding how to speak better, read better, and better grapple with the texts of the ancient world and the ancient world itself. This led him to SALVI with which he has been involved since 2018, serving as an instructor,&nbsp;<em>sodalis<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>dux<\/em>, and member of the board of directors. He currently runs&nbsp;<em>Latinitas Animi Causa<\/em>&nbsp;alongside his wife, Ilse,&nbsp;<em>ubi linguae \u201cmortuae\u201d vivescunt<\/em>! He loves making content in Latin and ancient Greek via podcasts and YouTube videos, and live streaming playing video games in Latin on Twitch. He also currently teaches Latin, ancient Greek, and Spanish at the Woodstock Academy in CT. Outside the Latin\/Greek world, he enjoys doing archery, playing guitar, singing, photography, and reading in his spare time, when he can find it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Corrado <strong>(<em>Conradus<\/em>)<\/strong><\/strong> <strong>Russo:<\/strong> In 2012 Corrado received a Master&#8217;s Degree in Classics from Tufts University. Since then he has taught Latin and Greek in public and independent schools at the middle and high school levels. He fell in love with the active use of Latin after attending his first immersion event in 2010. He was a founding member of the Boston Active Latin Meetup group and hosted it for several years, and has recorded and released complete Latin audiobooks available on a podcast titled \u201c<em>Musaeolum<\/em>.\u201d He has presented on topics relating to Latin pedagogy at conferences hosted by ACTFL, the Massachusetts Foreign Language Association (MAFLA), and the Classical Association of Massachusetts (CAM). He attends and staffs summer Latin immersion events regularly, and had the pleasure of serving as <em>dux<\/em> of <em>Rusticatio Omnibus<\/em> in 2019 and 2024. He spends his free time reading Latin literature with friends and enjoying the natural world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Celia <em>(Caelia)<\/em> Kelly: <\/strong>Celia began teaching Latin in 2010 and holds a Master of Arts and Teaching in Latin from UMass Amherst. She attended her first&nbsp;<em>Rusticatio<\/em>&nbsp;in 2014 and knew she had found a community she wanted to be part of for years to come. Celia has been a&nbsp;<em>curatrix<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>repetitrix<\/em>&nbsp;at SALVI events and has served on the Administration Committee in various roles since 2016. She currently serves as the Chair of the Administration Committee, which oversees planning for&nbsp;<em>Bidua<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Rusticationes<\/em>.
