Why donate to SALVI?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Because together we\u2019re doing the work to effectively support Latin teachers, Latin students, and the Living Latin Movement. We are a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization entirely run by volunteers. That means 100% of your donation goes directly to the operational costs of delivering high-quality professional development for the benefit of Latin teachers, Latin students, and \u201cLatin lovers.\u201d Please consider making a one-time donation, or join the President’s Initiative with a monthly contribution to increase your impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gifts given to SALVI are put to use in three areas:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. to pay for program expenses not covered by tuition and general administrative costs of our all-volunteer organization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. to increase the principal of the Amy High Foundation, with the goal of offering additional scholarships each year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. to develop future programs and new locations as well as a permanent, fully-staffed SALVI home where Latinists can live and study together throughout the year.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    SALVI is officially registered with the IRS and other administrative organizations as the North American Institute for Living Latin Studies<\/em>.
